INDIAN WEDDING
Indian weddings are as colourful and intense as they are eventful. A traditional wedding usually lasts at least three days with different ceremonies and celebrations alternating each other. These pictures are from the last moments of the wedding in which the family of the groom walks in a procession with loud drums playing hypnotic tunes towards the bride and her family. All the celebrations end then with an emotional moment in which the wife leaves her family to go live in a new home with her new husband.
